F & B Server Assistant

Great opportunity for an individual interested in learning the service side of the Restaurant and Banquet business. As an F&B Server Assistant you will work along side restuarant servers and banquet supervisors to ensure that guests receive our award winning service in both banquets and in the acclaimed Heritage Restaurant

Responsibilities for this Position

• GENERAL SUMMARY:
• The F&B Server Assistant can be scheduled for either banquet function or restaurant service and may be required to work both venues through the course of a shift. The Server Assistant position participates under the direction of a server or supervisor with the set up of banquet rooms, non alcoholic beverage service, food running and general bussing duties. The position may be called upon to also assist bartenders in a “bar-back” capacity for the movement of glassware, stocking of products and replenishment of ice etc. Additionally, the position may be called upon to perform hosting duties. The position is considered to be a “server in training” position whereby the server assistant is exposed to proper table setting standards, knowledge of safe food and utensil handling, menu knowledge, guest service standards and POS system usage. This position can qualify for full time, part time and on call status.
• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be able speak and read English. Must be able to lift 25lbs. Must be able to work on ones feet in a fast paced environment for shifts up to 8 hours. Must be able and willing to subscribe to uniform and behavior standards as outline in the employee handbook

• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.

• Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Excellent people skills.
• Must meet grooming standards.

Compensation

Wage	Up to $10.00 + tips
Hours	Full Time, Part Time, Flextime is available
