JOB SUMMARY
This position must be able to code, analyze, and track Capital Budget purchase orders, invoices, and budget expenditure reports (BERs) in local files according to Hilton Standard Practice Instructions.
Also, input Budget related invoices into AP system to process payments and run month end closing processes in the Asset Management System.
Reconciling general ledger accounts prepare month-end journals and reports for the report of operations and attend capital budget meetings.
Position also performs daily income audit functions and any additional projects provided by Finance Management.

Oscar's American Brasserie - Oscar's at the Waldorf= Astoria delightfully marries neighborhood gathering place and stylish brasserie with all of the amenities of one of New York's landmark hotels. For breakfast, an elaborate buffet is served along with an eclectic a la carte menu that includes Japanese cuisine and a Low Carbohydrate Breakfast. For lunch, diners can choose from an extensive a la carte menu. Located on the corner of 50th Street and Lexington Avenue.

Oscar's Bar - Oscar's Bar scene begins early and ends late, offering popular drink specials at great prices.

At its opening, The Waldorf=Astoria was the largest hotel in the world.
The Empire Room, which was once the premier entertainment club in New York, helped launch the careers of Diana Ross and Frank Sinatra.
Ginger Rogers appeared in the first major film to feature a hotel, "Weekend at The Waldorf."
First hotel to abolish the "Ladies Entrance."
First to start the practice of having assistant managers in the lobby to greet and assist guests with their needs.
First hotel to be included in the lyrics of a Broadway show. The lyrics from Cole Porter's "Anything Goes" include, "You're a Waldorf Salad."
First to introduce room service.
The Waldorf Towers was the first to suggest people live permanently in private suites.
