  • JOB SUMMARY
  • Greets and registers guests.
  • Checks guests out of the hotel.
  • Resolves guest challenges throughout their stay in the hotel.
  • Upgrades guests, and promotes hotel services and amenities.
  • Completes the registration process, codes electronic keys, and makes appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs.
  • Promotes and administers Hilton Marketing Programs for arriving guests.
  • Ensures guest knows location of room, and arranges for team member to accompany guest to room.
  • Provides welcome packet containing room keys, tokens of our appreciation, gifts, etc. to guest.
  • Ensures statements are correct upon guest check-out.

 Job Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.

Bull and Bear Steakhouse & Bar - With one of the most historic and well-recognized bars in New York City, this celebrated steakhouse offers a selection of fresh seafood and is the only restaurant on the East Coast serving the prime grade of USDA Certified Angus Beef®, the highest quality grade of beef available in the U.S.. Oscar's American Brasserie - Oscar's at the Waldorf= Astoria delightfully marries neighborhood gathering place and stylish brasserie with all of the amenities of one of New York's landmark hotels. Peacock Alley Bar - The elaborate 30 foot long bar with tan leather bar chairs reveals cast-glass female silhouettes, commissioned by Brooklyn’s Flickinger Glassworks. Join us for “The Debriefing Hour”, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. and for live entertainment music Wednesday Friday and Saturday evenings.

Bull and Bear's legendary mahogany bar has been cited by The New York Times as one of the world's three greatest. Open from 4:00 p.m. to late night.

  • At its opening, The Waldorf=Astoria was the largest hotel in the world.
  • The Empire Room, which was once the premier entertainment club in New York, helped launch the careers of Diana Ross and Frank Sinatra.
  • Ginger Rogers appeared in the first major film to feature a hotel, "Weekend at The Waldorf."
  • First hotel to abolish the "Ladies Entrance."
  • First to start the practice of having assistant managers in the lobby to greet and assist guests with their needs.
