An exquisite Santa Fe boutique hotel reflecting the culture and sophistication of its historic setting, the Inn and Spa at Loretto features 134 guestrooms, a full-service spa, casual fine dining, three art galleries and a tranquil garden. The Inn is ideally located in the heart of Santa Fe, near the Palace of the Governors and just one block from historic Santa Fe Plaza's galleries, museums, restaurants and boutiques.
Effortlessly blending old-world charm with world-class splendor, this New Mexico luxury hotel is one of the state's most photographed buildings. Built at the end of the historic Old Santa Fe Trail high in the spectacular Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the Inn and Spa at Loretto is an architectural recreation of the Taos Pueblo, a national historic landmark.
Receiving a meticulous $7.5 million renovation in 2008, the Inn and Spa at Loretto beautifully respects Santa Fe architecture, character and spirit.
Traditional beamed ceilings with vigas and latillas, indigenous rugs, handwoven fabrics, and white-washed adobe walls adorned with authentic regional artwork reflect Pueblo, Native American and Spanish culture.
Crackling kiva fireplaces, soft lighting and candles provide welcoming warmth and comfort.
Handcrafted doors, windows, corbels, canales and light fixtures display the personal mark of their makers.
Accommodations invite relaxation with vibrant colors, rich textures and luxurious amenities.
However you choose to spend your Santa Fe vacation, the Inn and Spa at Loretto offers an inspired refuge that surrounds you with the art and soul of genuine Santa Fe.
Accommodations
Styled in traditional elegance, the Inn's 129 guest rooms and five suites are elegantly appointed in symbolic hues of deep terracotta red, Navajo gold, black and white commonly used in Anasazi pottery and blankets. Layered zigzags of lightening bolts are portrayed throughout the room's décor signifying the power of Father Sky reaching down to recharge Mother Earth. Soft lighting and flickering candles provide a welcoming ambiance that cast telling shadows of a time when the sun and fire were the only sources of light.
All guest rooms boast luxurious new bedding and draperies that draw the eye with their geometric shapes, simple lines and vibrant colors. Spacious leather chairs and newly upholstered armchairs invite guests to rest, while the plush bed provides refuge for the weary. Artisan wall décor and historic artwork hint at the celebrated history of the hotel, the neighboring Loretto Chapel and greater Santa Fe.
Many of the guest rooms and suites have private or shared balconies that frame an assortment of vistas, including the surrounding Sangre de Cristo mountains, Saint Francis Cathedral, Loretto Chapel or the Inn's garden retreat scented by lavender and sage.
