Sheraton Suites Market Center situated in the heart of Dallas is seeking a Restaurant Manager. Located right across from the World Trade Center, Infomart, and Market Hall, the Sheraton Suites Market Center has 251 comfortable guest rooms.
Job Description: Prepares hot and cold food items on the assigned station(s), in accordance with recipies and standards while maintaining a neat and clean work environment in a safe, accident-free manner.
Job Requirements
Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Required: Must be friendly and courteous. Knowledge of cooking methods including broil, saute, grill, making soups and sauces and general food prep, proper knife handling, maintain proper temperature, sanitation, banquet/catering and VIP amenities knowledge a plus. Maintain highest quality and appearance of all foods sent from the kitchen and make sure plates are clean and appetizing. Maintain proper pars of production. Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing to understand menus, special promotions, and to commiunicate with guests when needed. High School graduate or equivalent.
Must have at least 1-2 yrs of Cooking on one or more stations. Hospitality experience preferred.
