Scope of this Position
This is position represents part-time, supplemental income. It is ideal for those who have left the hotel industry to spend more time at home and want to work from a home office. Becoming a Mystery Hotel Sales and Catering Tester involves testing sales and catering managers by phone followed by a computerized report that evaluates their selling skills. Hotel sales experience and a home office set-up is required; however, your home office can be located anywhere in U.S.
In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: sales
Job Requirements
Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Detail-oriented.
Excellent writing and verbal skills.
Able to work independently.
Working knowledge of computers, i.e. MS Word and Windows.
Adherance to deadlines.
Technical Requirements:
Strong background in selling rooms, F&B, Catering, Meeting Rooms, and A/V.
Thorough knowledge of sales techniques.
Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients.
Excellent phone sales skills.
Managerial Requirements:
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
Business Skills:
Strong organizational skills.
Good knowledge of computers.
Excellent listening skills.
Exceptional detail in follow-up.

Salary
$10,000 - $14,000
