The Driskill Hotel, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts and located in downtown Austin, is a four-star, AAA four-diamond hotel that seeks to provide the finest in service, ambiance, and hospitality.

The Tele-Sales Supervisor is responsible for the leadership and supervision of all aspects of revenue generation within the Tele-Sales department to include training, coaching, mentoring, cultivating and motivating a team of professionals to effectively maximize profit for the hotel.
This leader must have the analytical ability to communicate, execute, track, and analyze revenue strategies in accordance with the hotels changing needs.
In addition, this position is required to provide continued enhancement of the hotel’s culture in accordance with established standard and maintain effective relationships with all associates throughout the hotel in order to provide an unrivaled culture.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to enforce and model all hotel standards, policies, and procedures with associates
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments; delegate responsibilities effectively
Ability to lead and direct performance of departmental associates and follow through with corrections where needed
Ability to effectively model the hotel’s visionary and unrivaled culture
Ability to analyze and resolve problems while exercising good judgment and maintaining the best interest of the hotel
Ability to effectively plan and implement processes and procedures necessary to ensure distinctive associate relations, guest service excellence and superior profitability
Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of all guest and hotel information
Ability to effectively sell the property personally
Ability to read and interpret relevant reports and other sources of data
Ability to effectively measure department performance and devise appropriate action steps to achieve desired objectives
Ability to effectively motivate department associates and reach/exceed departmental goals
Ability to effectively interact and respond to all levels of associates within the hotel in a calm objective
manner
Ability to perform all required job duties within the department and scope of the position
Ability to lift, push or pull twenty pounds in order to fulfill job duties and assist throughout the hotel.
Ability to endure physical movements in carrying out job duties
Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel services/features and hours of operation
Maintain knowledge of corporate guidelines, initiatives, and requirements
Maintain high level of knowledge of the competition’s product
Attend designated meetings which may require travel
Work in conjunction with other departments to create, educate staff, strategize, and promote packages, promotions, daily rates, and events
Work effectively with all departmental vendors, portfolio properties, and corporate office members
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Create a culture of direct sales using call criteria, conversion and ultimately revenue generation as the measure of success by providing continuous coaching, rewards and recognition as the catalyst, which drives this culture
Ability to create and distribute departmental reports
Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Revenue Optimization, Reservation Manager, Corporate office, or senior member of management
Prepare, lead, and attend designated internal or other job related meetings; the desired goal should be reached
Ensure all associates meet the requirements of the appropriate job description
Ability to perform clerical and/or administrative work as necessary
Ensure guest calls are answered in accordance to the departmental standards
Ensure a quick and appropriate response to guest emails with impeccable communication,
Crafting the ultimate guest experience using the Aspire tools, while accurately inputting and accessing data in a computer in a timely manner
Ability to identify, research, resolve, and communicate issues (including those relating to guests) and requests with expedient follow up if necessary
Ensure an environment of Tele-Sales that incorporates The Grill’s dining experience into the fabric and culture of the department

REQUIRED:
At least 1 year previous supervisory experience with successful team results
Flexible schedule including weekends, evening and early morning hours and holidays
Computer proficiency and navigation with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and department specific programs
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
Positive professional attitude, initiative, self motivation, organization
Ability to analyze, communicate, quickly execute, and track data
Support the hotel’s vision, mission and core values
Ensure the Tele-Sales department provides service excellence
Ability to comprehend, suggest, execute and implement a revenue strategy to yield superior profitability
