Responsibilities for this Position
We are currently searching for seasonal Housekeeping Attendants to join our strong team for the winter season.
The person in this position is responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest areas according to the standards established by the resort.
Position involves maintaining guest corridors and linen closets and other assigned areas in accordance with the standards established by the resort.
Being one of the few true ski-in, ski-out properties in Vail, the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa is nestled mountainside along Gore Creek and considered one of the finest ski resorts in the nation.

JOB OVERVIEW:
Room Attendant are to assume duties and responsibilities delegated by the housekeeping supervisor.
Core duty is cleaning and supplying rooms.
Must be able to perform assigned duties with attention to detail and accuracy while exhibiting a courteous and cooperative behavior.
Must be able to stand / walk for extended periods of time and lift 25 lbs, push 50 lbs.
Will train the right individuals, but prefer prior resort housekeeping experience and ability.
Hours scheduled are typically from 7:30/8:00 a.m. - 3:30/4:00 p.m. and must be able to work weekends.
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Room Attendant is responsible to ensure that standards of cleanliness in assigned guest rooms are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service, within established time limitations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
To assume duties and responsibilities delegated by the housekeeping supervisor.
Offer all assistance possible to our guest.
Clean and supply a minimum of sixteen (16) credit rooms according to procedures.
Keep linen closet neat and clean.
Vacuum hallways everyday.
Supply linen closets in organized fashion.
Deliver soiled linen to laundry in a timely manner.
Wash windows and walls.
Empty trash.
Report any loss or damage to furniture, fixtures, or equipment.
Immediately report to housekeeping supervisor any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked at all times.
Inspect room linens before placing in rooms and return below standard pieces to Housekeeping.
Proper utilization of equipment, supplies and guest amenities.
Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest bathrooms.
Daily changing of soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following the Resort standards and those
set forth in the Green Program.
Thorough cleanliness of rooms, balconies and room furnishings.
