Scope of this Position |

- Position will be responsible for supervising/managing/overseeing the following departments: Housekeeping
- In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: Housekeeping
- Requires a minimum of 6 year(s) of supervisory experience.
- Requires a minimum of 10 year(s) of experience.
- Approximate full time staff under this position: 100
- Approximate part time staff under this position: 100
- Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality.
- Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and week-ends.

Job Requirements |

- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Experience managing Housekeeping, Laundry and Engineering.
- Solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars.
- Teach employees importance of, and how to greet guests and courteously solve guest requests.
- See that inspection program is consistently maintained.
- Assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed.
- Work closely with all other Departments.
- Inspect some rooms daily.
- Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies.
- Current on latest housekeeping and laundry technology.
- Work closely with vendors to assure proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance.
- Experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring multilingual and multicultural staff.
- Prior experience developing non-traditional approaches to Housekeeping would be a definite plus.
- Ensure OSHA and ADA policies are adhered to.
- Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. helpful.
- Coordinate PM program with Engineering, Housekeeping and Front Office.
- Develop refurbishing schedule to maintain all rooms at top sales appeal.
- Experience maintaining antiques, special wood coverings, and/or special flooring/carpet/drapery requirements.
- Experience with major renovation.
- Experience with rooms FF&E renovation.
- Familiar with mini-bars and/or extensive amenity programs implemented by Housekeeping.
- Prior experience operating Housekeeping Department that services rooms that are located in several different buildings
- Experience with Condominium or Timeshare owners helpful.
