Scope of this Position |
 |
- Implement and monitor corporate HR programs at hotels that are modern, busy, and offer training to help people advance their careers.
- Position will be responsible for supervising/managing/overseeing the following departments: Human Resources

Job Requirements |
 |
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong background in employment, employee relations, benefits, wage and salary, employee training, accident prevention, and government regulations and policies as they impact HR.
- Solid background in EEO, OSHA, ADA, anti-discrimination, COBRA, immigration requirements, etc.
- Effectively communicate and promote employee benefit program.
- Conduct needs analysis, develop, implement, and monitor training programs and materials.
- Successfully defend against unemployment claims, Workers' Compensation claims, etc.
- Provides employee counseling as necessary.
- Plans and coordinates employee functions, suggestion program, etc.
- Administer drug testing program.
Managerial Requirements:
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Track record promoting an atmosphere of teamwork.
- Build morale and spirit.
- Solid career progression up through the ranks.
- Instill a guest service attitude in all employees.
Business Skills:
- Excellent time management skills.
- Work with limited support.
- Good knowledge of computers.
- Strong customer service orientation and skills.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Follow/enforce company policies and procedures.
- Resolve problems.
- Thorough understanding of HR requirements and regulatory agency requirements.
- Knowledge of the following foreign languages, not required, but highly desired: SPANISH
Educational Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Specific degree in: BA/BS a plus
