Responsibilities for this Position |
 |
- BASIC FUNCTION:
- The Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby areas, public restrooms, employee restrooms and Hotel's internal offices.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- 1. Ensure cleanliness of entire lobby area, dusting, vacuuming and furniture placement.
- 2. Buffing of lower lobby, lobby and elevator floors.
- 3. Polishes all brass sign displays and stairway handrails.
- 4. Ensures constant monitoring and replacement of telephone message pads and pens at all public telephones.
- 5. Cleanliness of business center.
- 6. Dusts all pictures and furniture.
- 7. Checks and cleans all public restrooms, including the penthouse restrooms, on a frequent basis throughout the day/evening, replacing paper supplies as needed.
- 8. Check, clean and re-stock employee restrooms two times daily.
- 9. Sweep and mop floors in the employee cafeteria, wipe tables and chairs.
- 10. Remove trash and vacuums carpets in Executive offices, Accounting & Human Resources, Front Desk and back office areas.
- 11. Maintains a neat appearance of work cart.
- 12. Report all maintenance needs and special cleaning needs.
- 13. Return all lost and found articles to Housekeeping Office.
- 14. Practice safety standards at all times. Clean up spills immediately.
- MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- 1. Perform other related duties as requested by Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper.
- 2. Remain alert, courteous and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times.
- ENVIRONMENT:
- Indoor work with hard and carpeted floor surfaces.
- Good ventilation and artificial lighting.

Job Requirements |

- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
- QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Housekeeping experience desirable.
- Neat appearance and pleasant personality.
- Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses.
Technical Requirements:
- Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
