Responsibilities for this Position

• Supervise restaurant and lougne with the daily operations. Oversee all performance of Basil's Kitchen and assist in room service.
• Assigns work tasks and coordinates activites of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons and fairness to servers.
• Taking responsiblity for assigned employees in the absence of the Supervisor.
• Greets guests, escorts them to tables, provides menus, and adds or removes place settings as required.
• Assit in comp bar area
• Inspects dining room service stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
• Notifies servers of new tables and notifies line cooks of the arrival of large parties.
• may train dining room employees.
• may prepare beverages and expedite food orders.
• may total receipts, at end of shift, to verify sales and clear cash register.
• may collect payment from customers.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.

• Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Requires supervisory experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to converse in basic English.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Excellent people skills.
• Must meet grooming standards.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations.
• An energetic personality.

• High School degree or equivalent.

Compensation

Wage	$12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Hours	Full Time, Part Time
