  • Assistant General Managers, Rooms Managers, and Front Office Managers at upscale boutique hotels, resorts or private clubs.

 Scope of this Position

  • >>Community and Location
  • Luxury Private Residence club located in Mammoth Lakes, California. The club consists of 28 upscale homes, a fitness center, rooftop deck with hot tubs, and onsite concierge and housekeeping services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily club operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Concierge, Transportation, and all supporting staff. The General Manager will be very hands-on and maintain constant communication with all Members and Guests.

  • Destination Club Management (DCM) provides specialized expertise in the management of luxury, high-end Private Residence Clubs at resort and urban settings.
  • >>Keys to Success
  • The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Club. The key to success is excellent service to affluent clientele. Carry out a high quality approach to information and services. Ideal Candidate: Prior Club operations and Association management experience, and an understanding of sales and marketing is a plus.

 Job Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
  • Must have five years experience in the hospitality, private club, property management and/or hotel environment. Obtain CMCA certification (Certified Manager of Community Associations) within one (1) year of initial hire date. Company will pay for this license. Excellent communication skills, a positive outgoing personality and the ability to oversee several service departments. College Degree preferred.
Managerial Requirements:
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Use a "hands-on" approach to management.
Business Skills:
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Work with limited support.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong budgetary, projections, and cost control skills.

 Compensation

Salary$70,000 - $90,000
