• ABOUT THE POSITION
• JOB SUMMARY:
• Serve guests in a warm, professional and accommodating manner, meeting and exceeding our guests’ service standards and expectations, while adhering to the direction from management, to maintain a positive work environment ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete guest’s food service: properly read and take the guests’ order, collect proper billing information, relay the proper information to the server, double check delivery set-up before deployed, collect payment information from returning server and properly practice cashiering procedures.
• Set-up and maintain work station. Maintain organization of the room service side stations.
• Provide exemplary customer service and cross marketing skills including proper service of all food and beverage offerings. Describe with enthusiasm all wine offerings, menu items, and specials.
• Verbally ensure that proper identification will need to be presented upon room arrival prior to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Assist other servers when needed or directed by a manager.
• Assist the supervisor when needed or directed by a manager.
• Ensure menus are utilized according to Suncadia Resort & Spa standards and policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Job Requirements

• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
• QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years food, wine &spirits service experience preferred.
• Food Handlers Card & WA State Alcohol Servers Permit certified.
• CPR certification and/or first aid training optional
• Applicants with additional language skills preferred.
• Meets minimum age requirements of the State of Washington to serve alcoholic beverages, 18 years old.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards.
• Ability to speak the English language fluently to interact with guests. Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze guest needs and assist in resolving any and all guests challenges.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic food service, including all proper food service techniques
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction.
• Have a working knowledge of Washington State wines and Domestic & International sprits.
• Working knowledge of Micros 9700 or similar POS computer system.
• WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Ability to sit for long periods of time;
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs with assistance;
• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces and reach on a continuous basis.

• Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.

After your round, you may adjourn to the spacious, alpine craftsman clubhouse. From that comfortable vantage, you can look out over the greens and contemplate exactly what happened on the signature tenth hole. The Inn at Suncadia Just 80 scenic miles from Seattle, on the wonderful sunny side of the Cascades, lies the premier four-season resort community - Suncadia*. Overlooking Suncadia's 18-hole Prospector golf Course, the intimate Inn at Suncadia features custom finishes and furnishings inspired by nature and local surroundings. Opened on July 2, 2005 the Inn at Suncadia offers 14 guestrooms and four suites. The Inn conveys a mining theme that reflects the historic significance of the area. It offers such themed venues as the Gas Lamp Grille, the Canary Lounge and the Lunch Bucket for guests to enjoy. Private dining and event venues are also available.
