Public Area Attendant-Facilities (Full-Time)

Responsibilities for this Position |
 |
- GENERAL PURPOSE:
- Maintain the highest quality standards in all public areas, assisting and supporting all Housekeeping Associates in assigned areas, assisting with any special cleaning projects.
- Common Public Areas include, but are not limited to inside and outside areas: Foyers, Restrooms, Offices, Porches, Public Walkways, Lobbies, Fitness Center, and Salon.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain established cleaning/cleanliness procedures
- Smile and take ownership while providing our guests with quality service
- Must be able to work independently & as part of a team
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Clean multiple common areas in a timely and efficient manner
- Practice safety standards at all times
- Follow department standards as well as assist in implementing new procedures for continuous improvement
- Ensure that restrooms are maintained and refreshed with supplies on a continuous basis
- Remain alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and co-workers at all times
- Ensure all storage areas are clean and well maintained
- OTHER DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies
- Organize, store, and distribute supplies
- Document maintenance request on a daily basis
- Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job.

- SKILLS:
- Strong sense of customer service
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Follows verbal and written instruction well
- Some work experience with housekeeping and working with the public
- ABILITIES:
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to see areas that need attention and taking it upon yourself to correct the problem
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external guests
- WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
