The Ideal Candidate for this Position |
 |
Oversee housekeeping and laundry.. Two plus years experience as Executive Housekeeper at a quality oriented mid size full service hotel or Assistant Executive Housekeeper at a 400 plus room hotel, or a quality service oriented General Manager or Assistant GM from a professional, limited service hotel. Must have a two year college degree!

Scope of this Position |

- We would also consider a talented hotel professional that is working in Front Office as a Strong Front Office Manager or Human Resource Manager that has exposure to Housekeeping!
- Position will be responsible for supervising/managing/overseeing the following departments: Housekeeping and Laundry
- In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: Housekeeping
- Requires a minimum of 2 year(s) of supervisory experience.
- Requires a minimum of 2 year(s) of experience.
- Approximate full time staff under this position: 40
- This position reports to: Assistant GM
- Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality.

Job Requirements |

- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars.
- Teach employees importance of, and how to greet guests and courteously solve guest requests.
- See that inspection program is consistently maintained.
- Work closely with all other Departments.
- Inspect some rooms daily.
- Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies.
- Current on latest housekeeping and laundry technology.
- Work closely with vendors to assure proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance.
- Experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring multilingual and multicultural staff.
- Prior experience developing non-traditional approaches to Housekeeping would be a definite plus.
- Ensure OSHA and ADA policies are adhered to.
- Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. helpful.
