• PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES & POSITION PURPOSE:
• Responsible for the attending to the needs of hotel guests and local guests while on the pool deck.
• This person will be responsible for maintaining the area by having chairs aligned, pool towels stocked, retrieve soiled towels and place in towel bins, take soiled towels to HK and bring back any fresh pool towels, spa towels or robes.
• This person will also be responsible to set up and execute craft sessions for kids at scheduled times.
• He or she may be responsible for handling money for day use fees or kid’s crafts, fitness classes, activities programs.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for all guests.
• Provide a level of excellence in guest service though direct interaction and communication.
• The pool attendant will also have the assistance from security to make sure the umbrellas are open, aligned, and ropes tucked as well as assistance from the public area attendant to set up first round of pool towels, sweep deck and clean tables ( unless otherwise specified)

Job Requirements

• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction.
• Current First Aid and CPR- preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other associates.

• Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
