Beverage Cart Attendant-Links Halfway House (Full-Time)

Responsibilities for this Position |
 |
- GENERAL PURPOSE:
- The server is responsible for accurately describing the menu, selling and up selling and the delivering food and drinks to the guest at the golf course.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with guests to take drink and food orders. Describe menu format, individual food items and bar items to the guest.
- Communicate with kitchen for food ordering.
- Ensure prompt delivery of food or drinks to the guest.
- Have a working knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and food that is served at the Resort. Suggest pairings of food to wine or beer.
- Handle all checks and cash according to the Resort procedures.
- Ability to drive motorized golf beverage cart.
- Be familiar with all Resort amenities and other outlets.
- Create moments of truth for each guest.
- OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending meetings
- Attending training
- Maintaining bank
- Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job.

Job Requirements |
 |
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
- KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Previous bartending experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year restaurant experience
- Good food and service knowledge
- Cash Handling Experience
- Knowledge of Golf procedures and etiquette preferred
- Valid Driver's License (any state) and clean driving record
- SKILLS:
- Must love to work with people
- Pleasant personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer and phone skills
- EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
- High school degree
- WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift heavy objects when applicable
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Technical Requirements:
- Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
