Scope of this Position |
 |
- Conducts pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events; reviews daily specials.
- Ensures sidework duties are complete and tables are set before, during and after operating hours.
- Manages activity in outlets including restaurant, bar and room service to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Schedules employees according to forecast; monitors employee tardiness and absences.
- Instructs employees in the proper performance of their duties.
- Provides recommendations for employee discipline, recognition and performance evaluation to support the career development of employees under their supervision.
- Notifies manager of incident or conflicts that affect normal business operations or guest service.
- Requires a minimum of 3 year(s) of supervisory experience.
- Requires a minimum of 3 year(s) of experience.
- Approximate full time staff under this position: 20
- Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality.
- Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and week-ends.

Technical Requirements:
- Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
- Oversee all phases of outlet operations.
- Strong track record maintaining consistent standards.
- Excellent track record continually training outlet staffs.
- Closely monitor guests dining experiences.
- Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues and average checks.
- Run energetic, informative daily lineups.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor.
- Experience developing shift strategies.
- Closely coordinate opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Stewarding.
- Plan, coordinate & implement special events and holiday functions.
Managerial Requirements:

- Ability to sell concepts and ideas to management, peers, and employees.
- Experience making presentations in front of groups.
- Maintain a good working relationship with guests, groups, and personnel from other departments.
