Responsibilities for this Position |
|
- Hours and days may vary to include overtime, weekends and holidays. In addition to identifying problems and initiating work orders, the primary responsibilities of the HVAC/R Technician will be to remove and install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, perform preventative maintenance and maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all work performed on all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including heat pumps, ice machines and commercial kitchen equipment and controls. Knowledge and experience with the operation of natural gas boilers and cooling towers a plus. The HVAC/R Technician will also perform other general facilities and equipment maintenance duties and tasks as assigned by manager, supervisor or manager on duty.

Job Requirements |

- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Requires strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Able to lift at least 60 pounds.
- Must meet grooming standards.

- An energetic personality.
Educational Requirements:
- Technical school or formal technical skills training.
