Scope of this Position |
 |
- Position will be responsible for supervising/managing/overseeing the following departments: Banquets
- In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: Banquets, F&B
- Requires a minimum of 2 year(s) of supervisory experience.
- Approximate full time staff under this position: 15
- Approximate part time staff under this position: 20
- This position reports to: Director of Food & Beverage
- Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and week-ends.

Job Requirements |

- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Experience supervising numerous banquets at the same time.
- Experience supervising a few banquets at the same time.
- Maintain a balance between floor supervision, administration, employee training and mentoring, and hosting/communicating with groups.
- Assure consistency in service through ongoing training.
- Coordinate meal and set up requests with appropriate Departments.
- Communicate with Stewards to insure smooth operation.
- Maintain written and verbal communications with Meeting Planners and Groups.
- Excellent communications with FO, Catering, and Sales.
- Be available during all major Banquet functions.
- Run energetic, informative daily lineups.
- Set up and oversee all banquet functions.
- Improve quality and consistency.
Managerial Requirements:

- Ability to clearly and concisely present technical subjects.
