The newly opened Hotel Murano in Tacoma, WA is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to keep the hotel in top mechanical and operating condition. Completed in early 2008, the $25M renovation and repositioning of this property makes it a cultural destination as well as the anchor of Tacoma’s hospitality community, through it’s modern design, exceptional glass art collection and upscale service standards. |

The Ideal Candidate for this Position |
|
We are looking for an individual who is able to provide genuine hospitality to our guests and contributes to creating an environment that is exciting, innovative, challenging and fun. The ideal candidate will posses an upbeat and positive attitude, minimum of 2 years building maintenance experience preferred. Basic electrical, plumbing and general construction skills required to perform excellent quality of routine maintenance and repair duties for guest rooms and all public space.

Technical Requirements:
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to lift at least 75 pounds.
- We provide a substance free environment. Substance testing is mandatory.
- Meet/exceed customer expectations.
Educational Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent.
