Responsibilities for this Position |
 |
- 1. Be knowledgeable of and follow Hotel and specific departmental policies and procedures.
- 2. Be knowledgeable of Front Desk computer and cashier systems, including room rates and types of accommodations.
- 3. Be knowledgeable of all key Hotel personnel as well as ownership personnel.
- 4. Check in guests, ensuring they are properly accommodated. Ensure that complete and rate information is documented on guest records, and that payment methods by guests are correct.
- 5. Post all guest charges and payments to Guest, Banquet, Master, and House accounts, insuring such postings and payments are correct.
- 6. Responsibility for the accurate handling of assigned Front Desk cash drawer.
- 7. Be familiar with the physical layout of the Hotel, including guest rooms and their locations, facilities, and amenities in order to confidently sell Hotel to prospective guests.
- 8. Provide guests with any management-approved services, checking at a later time to insure satisfaction.
- 9. Be continually alert for the safety of all employees and guests, reporting any unsafe conditions to your immediate supervisor.
- 10. Do not incur overtime without prior approval of your supervisor.
- 11. Do not leave your assigned duty area for breaks, other needs, or at the end of your shift without the approval of your supervisor.
- 12. Follow hotel grooming and dress standards, including wearing a name tag at all times; minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
- 13. Keep your Supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- 14. Perform all duties in timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- 15. At all times project a favorable image of the Radisson Hotel Sacramento to the public.
- 16. Perform any other job duties as requested by Resident Manager, Planning Committee Member, Manager on Duty, or the General Manager.

Job Requirements |

- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
- Must live within 30 miles of the hotel.
Technical Requirements:
- Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to converse in basic English.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must meet grooming standards.
