Property Description |

Dedicated to active Northwest pursuits, Suncadia will offer things to see, to learn and to do year-round. Some will come for the championship golf, others for the vibrant Village over-looking the Cle Elum River.
Close proximity to mountain skiing and the wine country of Walla Walla will attract friendly, active people who, like you, feel most alive in the Great Outdoors.
With all that it is about to become, this will be a natural setting for an exceptional life and a distinctive home.Welcome to SuncadiaSuncadia is a comprehensively planned residential resort community designed to strike a balance between man and nature, modern life and posterity. Ultimately, the 6,000 acres of Suncadia will contain a collection of distinct neighborhoods, each with its own character reflective of its unique setting, and open spaces will be protected by the Suncadia Conservancy.
Suncadian architecture will draw inspiration from mountain lodges, sportsmen’s cabins, ranch and farmhouses and historic Victorian homes of the region. Design guidelines for Suncadia have been drafted by Hart Howerton, internationally acclaimed planners, architects, interior designers, and Dawson Associates, Seattle who for ten years have studied the ecology, history and planning and design influences of the region.
Golf writer Daniel MacMillan has estimated that there are 280 golf courses in the state of Washington, but, somehow, there are no golf resorts convenient to Seattle. Suncadia will change that.
Ultimately, Suncadia will host two 18 hole resort courses as well as a private course. The first, designed by Arnold Palmer's design company, meanders around forests and bluffs, spotting a putting green here and a practice green there. After your round, you may adjourn to the spacious, alpine craftsman clubhouse. From that comfortable vantage, you can look out over the greens and contemplate exactly what happened on the signature tenth hole. The Inn at SuncadiaJust 80 scenic miles from Seattle, on the wonderful sunny side of the Cascades, lies the premier four-season resort community - Suncadia*.
Overlooking Suncadia's 18-hole Prospector golf Course, the intimate Inn at Suncadia features custom finishes and furnishings inspired by nature and local surroundings.
Opened on July 2, 2005 the Inn at Suncadia offers 14 guestrooms and four suites.
The Inn conveys a mining theme that reflects the historic significance of the area. It offers such themed venues as the Gas Lamp Grille, the Canary Lounge and the Lunch Bucket for guests to enjoy.
Private dining and event venues are also available. The LodgeThe Lodge at Suncadia will be a favorite getaway. Owners will be able to embrace nature and experience the delights of a casual, yet sophisticated, four season recreation community. Suncadia’s over 6,000 acres will include a pedestrian village, two championship golf courses, luxurious spa, swimming pools and miles of fascinating trails to explore.
Planned on opening in late 2007 and early 2008, this facility will encompass not only 223 luxury rooms but also 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art conference services and a 9,000 square foot full service mountain glade spa with outdoor mineral pools and relaxation area.
Also housed in this breathtaking and picturesque building will be 3 meal restaurant and bar that will not only service guests but also introduce them to the mountain lifestyle and atmosphere.
Private dining and event venues are also available. |
