Scope of this Position |
 |
- In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: sales
- Requires a minimum of 2 year(s) of experience.
- This position reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing
- Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and week-ends.

Job Requirements |

- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Experience selling to a variety of market segments.
- Actively participate in industry related organizations.
- Strong background in selling rooms, F&B, Catering, Meeting Rooms, and A/V.
- Thorough knowledge of sales techniques.
- Enjoy asking for business and closing sales.
- Consistently make cold calls.
- Aggressively pursue new accounts on a weekly basis.
- Maximize yield.
- Consistently book repeat business.
- Track record developing long term business relationships.
- Spend minimal time in office.
- Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients.
- Conduct familiarization trips.
- Make onsite and field presentations to prospective clients.
- Participate in local community to develop business.
- Attend trade shows and participate in sales blitzes.
- Excellent phone sales skills.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Enjoy a team sales approach.
- Desire recognition and compensation based on personal sales production.
- Maintain and use trace system.
- Strong background in SMERF.
- Strong background in Group sales.
- Strong background in Social markets.
