We are looking a line cook to join our team. Must have flexible hours. |

Responsibilities for this Position |
 |
- 1. Opens up each morning preparing and organizing the station and cooking all food necessary to start serving.
- 2. Prepares all items for lunch; sauces, soups, buffet entrees, and switch over from breakfast to lunch at the assigned time.
- 3. Rearranges the line and steam table to facilitate luncheon cooking and service.
- 4. Prepares all orders as turned in by waitstaff and ensures all orders cooked quickly and according to order; also that food leaves the kitchen in peek condition.
- 5. Learns menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation.
- 6. Ensures that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holding temperatures.
- 7. Cooks only sufficient food in advance to cover expected business volume and to maintain quality.
- 8. Prepares all food needed by other kitchen departments which is best prepared by this department.
- 9. Prepares all food for next shift and for the following day as required and directed by Supervisor.
- 10. Maintains the work area, including all counter tops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with state, county, and company health regulations and
- work safety regulations.
- 11. Maintains high standard of personal hygiene in compliance with state, county, and company regulations.
- 12. Must be able to “prep” food products, using standardized food preparation techniques, such as
- those taught at Culinary Institute of America, or Emily Griffith Opportunity School.
- 13. Must be able to visibly recognize “condition” of food, and cooking temperatures.
- 14. Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- 15. Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
- 16. Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- 17. Performs other related duties as required.

Job Requirements |
 |
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
 |

| Wage | $9.00 - $9.00 per hour |
