Responsibilities for this Position

• GENERAL PURPOSE:
• The general purpose of the Nail Technician is to provide an exceptional salon experience that exceeds the expectations of our guests.
• Perform manicures, pedicures, hand and foot massage, and nail repairs.
• ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet and welcome guests.
• Provide a professional nail/foot treatment to every guest.
• Follow all procedures and guidelines while administering nail treatments.
• Prepare and maintain treatment area. I.e., prepare nail care equipment, sanitize instruments, ensure products and supplies are available on a daily basis, and complete all tasks necessary for opening and closing.
• OTHER DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Must be able to sit up to 4-6 hours per day.
• Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job.

Job Requirements

• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
• KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
• Industry certifications a plus.
• CPR/First aid certification highly desirable.
• SKILLS
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written required.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent listening skills required.
• ABILITIES
• Must be adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Be able to make decisions, possess good judgment.
• EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
• High school graduate or GED.
• Valid South Carolina State nail technician license.

• Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
