Responsibilities for this Position |
|
- Our line cook role will be expected to provide a support system for the Chef. This involves recipe and menu development, as needed, execution of a la carte dining and duties as well as banquet and catering relating to staffing of kitchen and dining room.
- Maintain and control quality and consistency of all food.
- Maintain and control waste of food product and labor
- Work with Chef to develop and cost menu items and specials, including station prep sheets
- Must have the ability to train and develop staff.
- Must have the ability to portion, prepare and cook menu items in accordance to the menus put in place and within the specifications of the Banquet/Restaurant Chef and standardized recipes
- Supervise sanitation of kitchen throughout shift.

Job Requirements |
|
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
- Should have skills in all areas of culinary arts
- Must have experience.
Technical Requirements:
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
- Requires strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Must meet grooming standards.
Educational Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Technical school or formal technical skills training.
- Specific degree in: Culinary Arts
