Responsibilities for this Position |
|
- The Staff Accountant will supervise and coordinate Accounting operations of the resort to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting of financial information. Assist and support the Assistant Controller and Controller in maintaining control over revenues, expenses and safeguard of assets of the resort. Analyst general ledger accounts and reconcile all balance sheet accounts in a timely basis. Prepare all journal entries to close each accounting period. Assist with the preparation of annual budget; analyzes financial information and monitors budget vs. expend. Participate in external and internal audits as needed. Directs, participates and verifies the taking of inventory for all areas. Supervises and provides technical support for accounting staff, HR and internal accounting.

Job Requirements |
|
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. 3-5 years prior experience, preferably in hotels and/or golf environment. Computer proficiency to include MS Office and POS systems. Ability to communicate effectively to guests, staff, peers, and management, both verbal and written. Experience working with Great Plains software is welcome.
